Our objective is to provide a comprehensive educationally-driven range of ultrasound training systems which relieve the pressure on service delivery by allowing trainees to learn in their own time.
ScanTrainer TVS was introduced in the Summer of 2010, and we continue to develop the system with software improvements, new training modules and case studies covering a growing range of pathologies in obstetrics and gynaecology.
Medaphor is currently developing a Trans-Abdominal ScanTrainer planned for launch in Summer 2012. Initially this will focus on obstetric and gynaecology applications, but the system will also encompass general medical and emergency medicine applications.
The aim is for ScanTrainer to provide an extended learning experience for early-phase trainees and more experienced users in various areas of ultrasound scanning.
