Core Obstetric Skills module upgraded

The Core Obstetric Skills module has been updated to include scans from an additional 11-week pregnancy. We now have two CRL lessons, one using the new scans with the fetus lying nicely in the midline and easy to measure, and the other with a fetus which is curled up and difficult to get an accurate CRL - a good teaching case.

"With the new patient scans and imporvements to the lessons, the upgraded module now provides a comprehensive set of lessons for training first trimester TV scanning " commented Sales Manager Iain Dunbar.
