Medaphor has recruited a highly experienced sonographer to join the ScanTrainer product development team. Helena Clarke qualified as a Radiographer 1984 and gained her Diploma in Medical ultrasound in 1990. She has worked for the NHS specialising in obstetric, gynaecological and general ultrasound, as well as for the United Kingdom Research for Ovarian Cancer, and is a part time lecturer for the Cardiff Medical Ultrasound course.
“I have a long history of involvement with training in ultrasound and am really looking forward to using my scanning expertise to help Medaphor develop and expand its range of simulator training modulesand case studies” Helena told Making Waves. “The ScanTrainer technology is amazing and I feel the simulator is a wonderful asset for any department offering training in ultrasound. I am delighted to be part of such an enthusiastic team.”
